Measurements are taken as follows:

CHEST/GIRTH: This is the most important measurement to ensure comfort. It should be taken around the body at the deepest part of the chest that is closest to the floor.

LENGTH: This is the second most important measurement to ensure a good fit and desirable appearance for the apparel on your fur baby. Measure from the base of the neck where the collar sits to the base of the tail.

NECK: Finally, measure around the neck where the collar sits to ensure the apparel with fit comfortably in this area as well.

WEIGHT: This can help to guide the final decisions when choosing the best fit for apparel items.

Each fur baby is unique as is each dog designer and manufacturer. Please use the size chart specified with the product you are looking to purchase to ensure the best fit.
