For broad-chested breeds, we’ve provided an option to give your pup extra room with our Alpine Dog Coats in all sizes with our new Chest Extension Straps.

As requested by our customers, we’ve created a Chest Extension Strap for our Alpine Dog Coats.

With 3 inches of reflective webbing and the buckles, your dog will enjoy an extra 5 inches in the girth area for a more comfortable fit for broad-chested dog breeds.

Our Chest Strap Extension comes in two sizes to cover all of our Alpine coats from XS through 5XL. For even more room, multiple straps can be used together. Sold individually.

Two sizes available:

– For XS – XL Coats – 3″ long webbing (5″ total extension with buckles) x 5/8″ wide

– For 2XL – 5XL Coats – 3″ long webbing (5″ total extension with buckles) x 1″ wide

** Please note, while the smaller strap will work with our old Alpine coats, the larger strap will not. We have made adjustments to the buckle on our Alpine coats starting in 2021 and the old buckles are not compatible.
